#	Outcomes
	• Recognize and understand the physical and atmospheric hazards associated with confined spaces (including LEL limits, oxygen levels, engulfment, and IDLH conditions).
	• Distinguish between permit-required and non-permit confined spaces and apply appropriate entry procedures.
	• Properly utilize, inspect, and maintain required safety, monitoring, ventilation, and personal protective equipment.
	• Execute specific duties assigned to the three active roles (Entrant, Attendant, or Entry Supervisor) during operations.
	• Respond correctly to alarms, hazardous changes, or evacuation orders, and follow emergency communication and evacuation protocols.

#	Participants
1	� • Entrants: Employees authorized to enter a permit space to perform work.
2	� • Attendants: Employees stationed outside the permit space to monitor authorized entrants, track entry counts, oversee safety conditions, and summon emergency services.
3	� • Entry Supervisors: Supervisors, foremen, or crew chiefs responsible for authorizing entry, verifying safe entry conditions, ensuring equipment and rescue services are in place, and managing permits.
